Our Story

I began this journey because of my high sensitivity to anything containing and anything derived from soybean. It was hard to find candles and melts that didn't contain soybean wax, so I decided to create my own.  It isn't in my nature to sit around and wait for things to happen, I enjoy the challenge that being busy brings and have always been a bit of a make-it-happen kind of person.

Because of my allergy, I am only too familiar with the array of additives that are hidden in commercial products, I knew my candles had to be pure coconut wax. And the hunt for the raw ingredients began, wax sourced & trialed over many months, fragrances tested, wicks trialed, packaging designed and our brand came to life. 
 
This was a very different thought process to what I am used to doing on a daily basis.  As an interior designer for over 20 years, I automatically gravitate to beautiful things and beautiful fragrances are part of creating beautiful spaces.  I love finding new things to share with my clients.
 
Now others with soy sensitivities (and there are more people than you realise) can also enjoy them in their home.  Just because we suffer with have allergies, we shouldn't have to miss out on beautiful things!
